general santos city is alive once more!i mean in festive mood now.many activities are held starting august 25 like the skim boarding competition,culinary expo and the search for Ginang bariles which i witnessed and enjoyed.but the official opening ceremony was held yesterday and it will go through until september 5 ,2009.
it's called the GenTeX,the tuna festival Xperience(GTX),in commemoration of the city's 41st charterhood anniversarry.
when i was in high school ,we used to join the parade and during the night, we had a wonderful time watching music bands in oval plaza.now im excited to watch the miss gensan 2009 on sept. 4,2009 and the float light parade on sept 5,2009.
many interesting activities and contests are added to spice up the celebration like the body fest modelling competition,fish dance hip hop competition,tinda tinda sa GTX,tuna pop song writing contest and the GTX mardigrass competition.
